Bocote Hardwood is native to Mexico, South America and the West Indies. The body of the wood is yellowish brown, with dark brown to black colored grain.

The pen uses Parker style refills, medium black ink is included. The Pencil uses .7mm lead. One pencil refill tube with 12 leads is included with the set.

Also included is a black velvet bag to carry and protect the pen and pencil set.
